the intersection of information, art and branding to create impactful environments
At Winter Holben Design we believe at the heart of an impactful human space there is a layer of design that creates connections and memorable experiences. We specialize in exhibit and wayfinding programs, architectural art installations, and retail branding that positively changes the feeling in an environment. Our approach is highly collaborative and we often work with brand leaders, architects, marketing directors, facilities managers, and key stakeholders interested in elevating an experience.
Elisa Winter Holben, Principal and Creative Director, has been creating and leading a wide range of award winning projects for over 15 years. With a degree in science and fine art, she began her career as a published scientific illustrator and then evolved to utilize her talents toward the creative and technical aspects of environmental graphic design. Her ability to pull together large complex projects and collaborate with other disciplines (architecture, industrial design, and engineering) eventually led her to becoming Creative Director for national retail firms. During that time one of her biggest accomplishments was leading many high profile retail projects for Bank of America. In the spring of 2011 she was delighted to start her own studio and continue working in the national retail arena while taking on other types of projects including those with a positive impact in her local community.
